RECREATION : EQUESTRIAN - LONGFIELD STABLES

Longfield Stables, Palmetto Bluff’s equestrian facility, offers diversified programs and activities of all equestrian disciplines for property owners and guests within a rural Lowcountry landscape. Our goal is to provide 24-hour equestrian care in a professionally maintained and staffed setting. A total area of approximately 173 acres has been dedicated to the main equestrian area, hayfields pastures and cross-country practice area and an extensive trail system, totaling approximately 15 miles accommodates riders and drivers. The facility includes a covered arena with a riding surface dimension of 130'x 250', an outdoor FEI Regulation size Dressage Ring, a Cross-Country practice course designed by Olympian John Williams, a 5-acre turf event field available for schooling horses and special events, a 24-stall main barn, and a 14-stall receiving barn, both featuring oversized 12'9" x 14' stalls with Rubber Mat Systems installed for comfort and safety.
